Enable MCP

Activate MCP capabilities for your Hyper Studio application.

Go to your Project and click the MCP icon in the sidebar.

Enable MCPToggle, defaults to false. Activates MCP capabilities for the application.

Steps to Enable​

Open MCP Settings

Go to your application in Hyper Studio and click the MCP icon in the sidebar (the bottom icon).

Enable MCP Toggle

Find the Enable MCP for this application toggle and turn it on.

Save Changes

Click Save changes to persist your setup. The Agent Configuration and Tools panels will now appear.

What Happens After Enabling?​

When you enable MCP:

  • The application becomes MCP-capable
  • Agent Configuration and Tools panels unlock
  • No tools are exposed yet - you remain in full control
  • You can now set up agents and add tools

:::warning Important Enabling MCP does not automatically expose any data or feature. You must explicitly set up tools in the next steps. :::
