What is MCP?

Model Context Protocol

Model Context Protocol (MCP) enables AI assistants to securely connect to your internal applications and data sources. With Hyper, you control exactly what AI can access and do.

Process

Building MCP-ready applications in Hyper follows a workflow:

  1. Build in HyperStudio - Create your application with data models, APIs, and business logic
  2. Enable MCP - Turn on MCP capabilities for your application
  3. Set Up Agent & Tools - Define what AI can access and execute
  4. Generate & Deploy - Export runtime-ready code with MCP built in
  5. Connect to Claude - Use MCP Proxy to bridge Claude Desktop to your app
